Please note that Google Merchant Center (GMC) is not compatible with third-party shipping apps on Shopify, including ShipX.
This limitation exists because Google Merchant Center has not fully integrated with Shopify’s Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) API.
How ShipX Works
ShipX uses Shopify’s CCS API to calculate and return real-time shipping rates at checkout.
When a customer reaches the checkout page, Shopify sends a rate request to our app via the CCS API, and ShipX responds with the applicable shipping rates.
However, ShipX does not sync these rates with Google Merchant Center that process is managed entirely by Shopify.
If you need to sync shipping rates with Google Merchant Center, please reach out to Shopify Support, as this setup falls outside the scope of the ShipX app.
