Let’s say you want to charge different shipping rates for chairs and sofas.
Step 1: Assign tags to products
- Go to Shopify Admin > Products.
- Click on a product and scroll to the Tags field.
- Add a tag (e.g., chair).

- Repeat for another product with a different tag (e.g., sofa).
Step 2: Sync products in ShipX
- Open the ShipX app > Settings > Sync Settings.
- Click “Sync products” to update your latest product tags in the app.

Step 3: Create product-based scenarios
- Go to Rates > View Scenario > Create Scenario.

- Enter a scenario name.
- Click “Add condition” and select: Product > Tag > Equals > chair.

- Set the shipping rates for this tag:
- Under Shipping rates, select the desired shipping zone.
- Click the “Add shipping rate” button .
- Enter a rate name (e.g., Chair Shipping Rate).
- Under Criteria, choose Product Quantity.
- Under Product Filters, select Product Tag and enter chair.
- Set Minimum quantity to 1, Maximum quantity to unlimited, and shipping rate to $10. Click the “Add” button.


Repeat the same steps for the sofa tag with its respective rate (e.g., $20).
