If your shipping charges vary by product type or category, you can use product-based conditions to configure rates in ShipX.
These conditions allow you to define rules based on identifiers such as Product Tag, SKU, Product Name, or Barcode, all of which can be managed from your Shopify Products section.
Product-based conditions (Scenarios)
These product parameter can be used in the scenario conditions.
1. Product Total
The Product Total allows you to set conditions based on product total value.
Example:
- Product total over $200 → Free Shipping
- Product total below $50 → $5 Shipping Fee
2. Product Price
The Product Price allows you to set conditions based on price of the product.
Example:
- Product price over $100 → Express Shipping
- Product price below $30 → Standard Shipping
3. Product Quantity
The Product Quantity allows you to set conditions based on the product quantity.
Example:
- Product quantity 5 or more → Bulk Shipping Rate: $10
- Product quantity less than 5 → Standard Shipping: $15
4. Product Weight
The Product Weight allows you to set conditions based on the product weight.
Example:
- Product weight over 10 kg → Heavy Item Shipping: $20
- Product weight under 1 kg → Light Parcel Shipping: $5
5. Product Length
The Product Length allows you to set conditions based on the product length.
Example:
- Product length over 120 cm → Oversized Shipping: $25
- Product length under 60 cm → Standard Shipping: $10
6. Product Width
The Product Length allows you to set conditions based on the product width.
Example:
- Product width over 100 cm → Large Parcel Shipping: $18
- Product width under 50 cm → Standard Shipping: $8
7. Product Height
The Product Length allows you to set conditions based on the product height.
Example:
- Product height over 80 cm → Tall Package Shipping: $20
- Product height under 40 cm → Standard Shipping: $8
8. Product Volume
The Product Length allows you to set conditions based on the product volume.
Example:
- Product volume over 100,000 cm³ → Bulky Item Shipping: $25
- Product volume under 50,000 cm³ → Standard Shipping: $10
9. Product Volumetric weight
The Product Length allows you to set conditions based on the product volumetric weight.
Example:
- Volumetric weight over 15 kg → Air Shipping: $30
- Volumetric weight under 10 kg → Ground Shipping: $12
10. Product Vendor
The Product Length allows you to set conditions based on the product vendor.
Example:
- Product vendor “Nike” → Use Nike-specific rate: $7
- Product vendor “Adidas” → Free Shipping
11. Product Name
The Product Name allows you to set conditions based on the product name.
Example:
- Product name contains “Gift Box” → Free Shipping
- Product name is “Premium Watch” → Express Shipping: $15
12. Product Tag
The Product Tag allows you to set conditions based on the product tag.
Example:
- Product tag contains “Fragile” → Add Handling Fee: $5
- Product tag contains “Promo” → Free Shipping
13. Product SKU
The Product SKU allows you to set conditions based on the product SKU.
Example:
- Product SKU starts with “SKU-ELC” → Electronics Shipping Rate: $10
- Product SKU contains “DISC” → Exclude from Free Shipping
14. Product Barcode
The Product Barcode allows you to set conditions based on the product barcode.
Example:
- Product barcode equals 8901234567890 → Custom Shipping Rate: $12
- Product barcode equals 8800123456789 → Standard Shipping

1. Product Quantity
Set shipping rates based on product quantity.
Example:
- 1–3 items → $4
- 4–6 items → $7
- More than 6 items → $10
2. Product Price
Set shipping rates based on product price.
Example:
- $10 - $50 → $4
- $50.01- $99 → $10
- $100 & above → Free shipping
3. Product Total
Set shipping rates based on product total.
- $10 - $50 → $4
- $50.01- $99 → $10
- $100 & above → Free shipping
4. Product Weight
Set shipping rates based on product weight.
- 1–3 kgs → $4
- 4–6 items → $7
- More than 6 items → $10
5. Product Volume
Set shipping rates based on product volume.
- Volume < 1000cm³: $10
- Volume > 1000cm³ : $20
6. Product Volumetric weight
Set shipping rates based on product volumetric weight.
- Volumetric weight < 10 kg: $10
- Volumetric weight > 10 kg: $20
