How can we help? 👋

Settings

The Settings section allows you to configure general preferences for the Delivery Customization module. From this page, you can manage the app status, view your store's currency and weight units, and switch between the Delivery Customization and ShipX Shipping Rates & Rules (CCS API) versions.

App Status

The App Status setting allows you to enable or disable all Delivery Customization scenarios created within the ShipX app.

Notion image
  • Enabled – All Active Delivery Customization scenarios will be applied during checkout. The configured rules will customize Shopify's native shipping methods based on your conditions and actions.
  • Disabled – All Delivery Customization scenarios will be temporarily disabled. Your scenarios will remain saved in the app but will not be applied during checkout until the app is enabled again.

Note: Disabling the app does not delete your scenarios. It only prevents them from being executed at checkout.

Currency & Units

The Currency & Units section displays the currency and weight units configured in your Shopify store. These values are automatically synchronized from your Shopify settings and are used when evaluating value-based and weight-based conditions.

Notion image

Store Currency Code

The Store Currency Code displays the default currency configured in your Shopify store.

All monetary conditions, such as Cart Total, Product Price, Product Discount, and other value-based conditions, are evaluated using this currency.

Note: The Store Currency Code is automatically retrieved from your Shopify store and cannot be modified within the ShipX app.

Weight Unit

The Weight Unit displays the default weight measurement configured in your Shopify store.

All weight-based conditions are evaluated using this unit.

Supported weight units include:

  • Kilogram (kg)
  • Gram (g)
  • Pound (lb)
  • Ounce (oz)

Note: Ensure that your product weights in Shopify are configured using the correct weight unit to guarantee accurate evaluation of weight-based Delivery Customization rules.

App Version

The App Version section allows you to switch from the Delivery Customization version to the ShipX Shipping Rates & Rules (CCS API) version.

Notion image

The ShipX Shipping Rates & Rules version enables you to create custom shipping rates based on various conditions and parameters, such as cart details, product information, customer information, shipping destinations, and more. These shipping rates are calculated by the ShipX app and returned to Shopify during checkout.

Important: Before switching to the ShipX Shipping Rates & Rules (CCS API) version, you must manually deactivate (inactive) all existing Delivery Customization scenarios. Delivery Customization scenarios and the CCS API version cannot be used simultaneously.

To use the ShipX Shipping Rates & Rules feature, your Shopify store must have the Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) API enabled.

If the CCS API is not enabled for your store, please contact Shopify Support to verify your eligibility and activate the feature on your Shopify plan.

Note: Once the CCS API is enabled and you switch to the ShipX Shipping Rates & Rules version, you can configure custom shipping rates directly within the ShipX app based on your business requirements
