Advanced Customer-Based Delivery Customization allows you to customize Shopify's native shipping methods using advanced customer information. These conditions enable you to create personalized delivery rules based on customer profile details, purchase history, and B2B information.
Using these conditions, you can configure rules to show, hide, rename, or reorder shipping methods during checkout based on specific customer attributes.
The following advanced customer-based conditions are available:
- B2B Company Name
- Customer Country
- Previous Orders Spent
- Previous Orders Count

B2B Company Name
The B2B Company Name condition allows you to customize delivery methods based on the B2B company associated with a customer in Shopify.
The company name configured in the condition must exactly match the B2B company assigned to the customer in Shopify. This condition is useful for providing customized shipping options for different business customers.
Example
- B2B Company is ABC Industries → Display Business Delivery.
- B2B Company is XYZ Retail → Display Express Delivery.
This enables you to offer company-specific delivery methods for your B2B customers.
Customer Country
The Customer Country condition allows you to customize delivery methods based on the customer's shipping country entered during checkout.
When configuring this condition, the country must be specified using its ISO 3166-1 Alpha-2 country code (for example, US, CA, AU, GB).
Example
- Country is US → Display Express Delivery.
- Country is CA → Display Standard Delivery only.
This allows you to configure different delivery methods for customers based on their shipping destination.
Previous Orders Spent
The Previous Orders Spent condition allows you to customize delivery methods based on the customer's total lifetime spending in your Shopify store.
This condition is useful for rewarding loyal customers by providing exclusive shipping options based on their purchase value.
Example
- Previous Orders Spent greater than $1,000 → Display Priority Delivery.
- Previous Orders Spent less than $1,000 → Display Standard Delivery.
This enables you to personalize delivery methods based on a customer's overall purchasing history.
Previous Orders Count
The Previous Orders Count condition allows you to customize delivery methods based on the total number of orders a customer has placed in your Shopify store.
This condition is useful for recognizing returning customers and providing different shipping options based on their shopping history.
Example
- Previous Orders Count greater than or equal to 10 → Display Priority Delivery.
- Previous Orders Count less than 10 → Display Standard Delivery.
This helps you offer personalized delivery experiences based on customer engagement and order history.
