The Date & Time Conditions Add-on allows you to add conditions based on date and time, enabling you to control rules by day of the week, specific dates, and time ranges.
This helps you automate special delivery pricing such as weekend surcharges, holiday offers, or time-based shipping charges during peak or off-business hours.
How to activate the add-on
1. Go to Help > Subscriptions.
2. Click Upgrade your plan.
3. Upgrade to the Premium plan if you haven't already.
4. Click Activate Add-on on Condition based on Date & Time.
5. Complete the payment process.
How to set shipping rates based on date & time
1. Go to the Rates page of the ShipX app.

2. Click Create on Scenarios or click View > Create new scenario.
3. Enter a name for your scenario. (e.g., Date-Based Scenario or Time-Based Scenario)

4. Next, click Add condition.
5. Set the condition:
- Condition based on day of the week: Date & Time > Date of the week > Equals to > Select the days of the week (e.g, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) > Add.

- Condition based on a single date: Date & Time > Date > Equals to > Select the date (e.g, 10th December 2025) > Add.

- Condition based on date range: Date & Time > Date > Between > Select the range of dates (e.g, 10th December to 20th December 2025) > Add.

- Condition based on time: Date & Time > Time > Equals to > Set the time (e.g., 14:30) > Add.

- Condition based on time range: Date & Time > Time > Between > Set the time (e.g., 09:00 - 18:00) > Add.

Notes:
- The Date & Time conditions are based on the time the shipping rate is calculated at checkout, not the time the order is placed.
- All Date & Time conditions follow your storeโs timezone, not the customerโs timezone.
6. Once you set the conditions, click Save to save the scenario.

7. Under Shipping rate, click Add shipping rate on the preferred zone.
8. Enter a name for your shipping rate.

9. Under Shipping rates, set your preferred criteria. (e.g, Cart > Quantity)
10. Click Add tiered rate to set your tiers.
11. Set the tiers based on your preference and click Add.

- Click Save to complete the setup.
