When products with different Tags or Vendors are added to the cart, the system will apply separate shipping rates for each unique Tag or Vendor.
When multiple products share the same Tag or Vendor, only one shipping rate will be applied for that group. The final shipping cost will be calculated by combining the rates for each unique Tag or Vendor group present in the cart.
This condition is useful when you want to charge shipping per Tag or per Vendor, ensuring accurate and flexible shipping calculations based on product grouping.
How to set shipping rate separately for each product tag or vendor
To configure shipping rates exclusively based on Product Tags or Vendors using the “Group by each value” option, follow the steps below.
- Create a new shipping rate scenario based on your business requirements.
- Select the appropriate Shipping Zone.
- Define the Shipping Rate as required.
- In the Shipping Criteria, select Product.
- Choose Quantity as the calculation basis.
- Under Product Filter, select Tag or Vendor.
- Enable the option Group by each value.
- Set a Flat Shipping Rate for the condition.
- Save the shipping rate configuration.
