Setting state-based shipping rules in ShipX allows you to offer different shipping rates for customers in specific states. This is useful when certain regions require special pricing, higher delivery costs, or custom handling.
Follow the steps below to create a state-based scenario and set up the corresponding shipping rates.
Step 1: How to set state scenario
- Go to the "Rates" page of the ShipX app.
- Click "Create" on Scenarios or View > Create new scenario.
- Enter a name for your scenario (E.g., State Scenario).
- Click the "Add Condition" button.
- Set the condition as Customer > State > Equals > Select the country > Select the state or states > Add.
- Click "Save" to save the scenario.
Step 2: How to set shipping rates based on state
1. Click “Add shipping rate” on the zone that includes the selected states.
2. Enter a name for your shipping rate (E.g., Special Shipping Rate).
3. Under shipping rates, select the criteria as Cart > Quantity (or another criteria based on your requirement).
4. Click “Add tiered rate” to set the rates.
5. Set your tiers and shipping rates and click the “Add” button.
6. Click Save to complete the setup.
